Organization skills - precision juggling of emails, calendar invites, Google spreadsheets, event lists etc.We always have a blank canvas for sketching new ideas that can encourage & ignite college entrepreneurship. By teaming up with other student hackers and the founders participating in RDV University, you'll get to build products, ideas, and tech alongside other aspiring coders, builders, and entrepreneurs. Developing new initiatives to support and foster a connected community- via events / programs / content / interviews / resources. RDV Hacks is a completely free, in-person hackathon in NYC.Planning great community-building dinners & events that bring together teams and students beginning to pursue new ideas ( here’s the last dinner we hosted at the Sinclair rooftop in Harvard Square).This is a chance to work with over 35 startups on all dimensions: press / recruiting / strategy / marketing / partnerships. Continuing to develop our kit of resources to get them jumpstarted, and engaging with the community over our email lists & Slack group. Onboarding new student teams & making them feel at home.Profiling RDV startups on social media (like this awesome feature of our founders Ari & Conrad!).Now the time is ripe for us to take RDV to the next level, and we are looking for a Head of Platform to help grow and expand our network of great young founders! What started out as an idea aimed at students helping students launch startups has grown to a sizable community, and we’ve been lucky to work with amazing students and university startups along the way. Over the past 2.5 years, we’ve built Rough Draft Ventures brick-by-brick alongside our student team and collaborators from General Catalyst Partners.
